Not exactly true. While Apple has recently added even more obstacles, there are several things to note:

1: Older phones with older iOS installed are more vulnerable.

2. If a LEO takes your phone that has not been completely shut off, and they have expensive forensic equipment, they might still be able to get in.

3. The makers of that equipment are always searching for new ways to break through the Apple gates.

All that is true, but the difficulties also mean that LEO’s aren’t going to go to all that trouble and expense unless getting access is extremely important.
