On the Eve of Apple’s Fall Events, Why Is This Happening?
New phones! New watches! Internal distress!
It’s September, the time when all Apple fans eagerly await new iPhones and whatever else the gods of Cupertino choose to give to us. The rumors fly, sites like AppleTrack have their fingers hovering over keyboards, poised to update the accuracy stats of prognosticators. Even those of us with no intention of going anywhere near an Apple store on a crazed launch day will be refreshing Apple’s product pages so that we can devour the new specs and features as soon as we possibly can.
It sure seems like a bad time for Apple to be fighting with employees.

Apple apparently doesn’t want employees talking about their pay in a company Slack channel. There’d be nothing wrong with that; a company has every right to keep personal business out of company channels.
