Picking Out Your Apple Watch

Visiting an Apple store or shopping on line for the Apple Watch can be confusing for new owners

Ready to buy an Apple Watch?

Which model? Do I want the cellular version? What band, what color, what size? These are the questions I hear from people who want an Apple Watch. I’ll explain everything to help you make those decisions. I’m assuming that you are already aware of the features and benefits that the Watch offers. If not, https://www.apple.com/watch/ will show you all that. My purpose here is to help you with the rest.

GPS and Cellular or GPS only

This is a decision where the price matters. The cellular models are more expensive because, just like your phone, they can talk to carrier cell towers, giving you internet connectivity and phone service anywhere that your phone would work. A cellular watch can get a phone call or a text message on a city sidewalk, even if you left your phone in another city.

Note: your carrier has to support using an Apple cellular watch. Not all carriers offer that ability.
