Privilege is not why we should have universal health care.

Your thoughts on whether health care is a privilege or not, isn’t really a scientific question. Science cannot help you, as it is a moral and philosophical question related to your values. That applies to a lot of things in life.
Why are scientists leftist? Shouldn’t they be neutral?
