Right behind my childhood home was a genuine Indian burial ground. A “right of way” to it ran by our house — of course we called it “Indian Trail” - all hundred feet of it.

Our neighbor put in a fence at his property line and grew vegetables in the burial ground. So much for Indian rights and all that.

As far as I know, nobody every complained.
