So true. And if you keep it up month after month, year after year, you end up very strong and healthy. I've said to many friends that they did not get out of shape in a month, it took more time. Let it take that much time to recover.

I quit smoking in the late 90s. I ballooned up to over 200 lbs at 5'10-ish. Over the past two decades, I slowly trimmed that down to a very fit and strong 155 at almost 73 years old.
