Switching to Apple Mail From Gmail
It wasn’t easy, but it is time to do it
I have been using Gmail since October 2004, about six months after it was first released to beta. I switched to Inbox when they invited me in 2014. Inbox was a much improved version of Gmail which I was very enthusiastic about and recommended it to everyone — it was that good.
As Google has done with so many products, they discontinued Inbox in 2019, the same year they killed Google+, another product I loved.
Google Workspace
Gmail still exists, and probably always will, but it and Google Chat have been put under the umbrella of Workspace, which used to be called GSuite and was Google Apps before that. Some Inbox features transferred to Gmail, but Google+ was dead and…
