Social astuteness: is the ability to read people and understand how they see you. Knowing how other people view you and how your behavior impacts them is a soft skill that helps you understand your place in team dynamics.

That was something I was often unaware of. I recall being quite astonished at a meeting where someone mentioned how helpful I had been to them and several others chimed in with agreement. I never thought those people even noticed me!
