That’s frustrating. Worse, it can be maddening.
I’ve had my share of idiots in my work life, so I can empathize. I had a customer bring in a new software vendor who insisted he could not print to the existing printers and would have to replace them all. Puzzled, I asked why. “I don’t have drivers”, he said.
“You don’t need drivers. These are text or postscript printers, they live at port 9100, just open the port and spit it out.”
He looked at me no comprehension. No concept whatsoever. He was the guy who wrote the software the customer had bought!
