I have opinions and will share them here

The June 2021 WWDC (World Wide Developer Conference) spread gobs of new features and capabilities all over Apple’s next OS versions. Even better, most of these new toys are things I will use and many are things I’ve been waiting for quite impatiently.

So, great stuff indeed. But great stuff always comes with prerequisites in the footnotes, doesn’t it? Will my stuff work with this new stuff or will I be standing in the cold, peering in at all the warm, happy people inside who will be using all this newfound power?

And is all of it as wonderful as the demos imply? Is any of it better than you might think at first glance? I have opinions! I bet you will as well.

Here’s what I’ve learned from the keynote, in the footnotes and detail pages and what I think about the changes.

First, the required hardware
