I am definitely not very good with a camera. I take plenty of pictures, but almost all of them are for articles like this or a snapshot to help me remember something. If it happens to resemble a good photo, that is entirely accidental: you won’t find any great photo tips here.

Here’s a tip: when heading to the grocery store, take a shot of your pantry and your fridge contents. If you have a weekend retreat, take a photo of your food stores and any clothes you are leaving there. Get another shot of your home food before heading to your getaway. These photos can save you a lot of questions later.

That reminds me of an app I wish someone would make — or if they have made it, I wish they’d advertise it better. Before I take any photos or videos, let me say which folder I’d like them to go to. That would save me steps.
