The New Partner Page Needs Another Column or Two
I’ve been asking for yesterday’s earnings but they never do it
You have probably seen this already. Were you as unimpressed as I was? Sure, lifetime earnings are mildly interesting, but if you’ve been here more than a year or two, does that really matter?
Yearly story earnings would have been more interesting, though that’s still not a figure I care much about. What I wish they’d put in a column is yesterday’s earnings for each story.
Gosh, there’s plenty of room, isn’t there? And it can’t be hard to do — the code is adding up this month’s earnings, so all it has to do look for matches to yesterday’s date and put that amount in the report.
I would guess that no matter what the database language is, almost any programmer, familiar with that language or not, could add that code in literally seconds.
But Medium has not done this. Why?
