The only advantage we will have is that we can report true things that happen to us. AI will be able to emulate that and might even do it better, but I think about it this way:

I collect rare coins. It’s perfectly possible with today’s tech to manufacture counterfeit coins, so certification services are important. Someday, perhaps soon, it may be possible to make counterfeits so perfectly that no person or test can tell. My collection will be worthless, but I will still know it is real.

Same thing with writing. AI may meet or exceed our human abilities and there may be no money in it, but that doesn’t stop me from writing and it doesn’t mean that nobody will want to read me.

I’m okay with that. If it happens soon, I have to be okay with it, right?
