The only reason I have any political pull at all (and it's pretty weak) is that both my wife and I grew up and went to school with one of our U.S. Senators. We are on a first name basis and he even wanted my wife as his assistant once (she was tempted, but it would have been a lot of work).

Other than that, I really don't have representation.
