The pay rate has not changed. I’ve getting the same amount per read on a daily basis. It varies on individual stories, and can be quite low, but the daily reads vs. daily income is about the same for me.

What seems to have changed is how widely and for how long stories are being shown to members. Some of my stories might have went only to email subscribers. Others have a wider distribution, but die off quickly. This, I think, is a change.

Some, however, are distributed very widely and remain so for months and even years.

I’m watching all of this very closely and have been keeping daily story by story earnings for almost a year now. This gives me the stats that I hope will guide me more accurately in choosing what to write and where to put it.
