This also comes with aging. Many of my friends and family have died -- I simply have outlived them.

I think of many quite often and while it's often a fond remembrance, there is always that regret that they are gone, unanswered questions, and other feelings of unfinished business. It can bring on a bit of depression, certainly.

My grandmother had many friends much younger than she was, but she lived so long that eventually almost all of them were gone. She commented on that, but I was too young and too busy to really understand.

I understand very well now.,
