I wrote to Medium about that and the person who responded agreed, but that doesn’t mean it ever will.

Oddly, this did seem to work for me on newer stories the few times I tried it - I’d get that “already sent” message, but my wife got the story.

But it definitely doesn’t work now, so either Medium stopped this or some glitch happened when I tried it before.
