Greed and classism work together. Greed demands low taxes and makes it easy to paint the lower classes as undeserving.

Everybody should be able to better their lot, but today too many of us have more wealth than any future need could possibly require. That is simply too much money that could be creating a better society for all of us.

We should have tremendous luxury and leisure today. Automation and artificial intelligence should have given that to all, not just those of us who were positioned to earn from it.
