We Need More Bridges

Hear me out: a small investment will pay big dividends

Someone I know works doing data input for their county court system. She’s been doing this for many years, but recently told me that she’s swamped with entering eviction cases.

Many people are out of work; our thoughtful Congress chose to further enrich the already wealthy while ignoring everyone else, so little people running out of money is hardly unexpected. There are, however, some logistical details to consider: where will these people go?

I have a solution which will not only solve that little problem, but also neatly take care of several other pressing needs that our country has experienced ever since we realized that helping the wealthy hang on to their money should always be the primary concern of government.

We need to build more bridges.

Too simplistic, you say? Hear me out. The lack of tax money caused by attending to the very real plight of rich folks has caused us to neglect our infrastructure. I’m sure even the wealthiest of us are annoyed by the deteriorating conditions of our roads. We ourselves may not have to drive on those roads often, but the decay is visible from planes and helicopters, so you should have noticed. People who do have to drive…
