We want to go electric on our next lease, but at around 12,000 miles per year, I don't see it saving us much money. If gas goes back to $3.00 and I'm getting 30 MPG, that's still only about $1,200 worth of gas a year. Even if the cost of electricity were free, that doesn't knock much off my lease.
