Wealth equality is what should happen and, unless we kill our own species, truly must.

But the transition will be hell for billions of us. We are only beginning to see how hellish it can become and too many are already living it.

One more thing: why do we need wages at all? Why not directly distribute the material wealth? Everything could be free. If a particular item’s availability is constrained for any reason, a lottery system can make the distribution fair.

So why wages?
