Well, I was a Unix guy. My office had a windows machine, but my main box was a SCO Unix system. I detested Windows, but there were things I needed it for. My customers often had windows as Unix clients, so I had to have some expertise there.

Then Apple switched to Intel, I bought a MacBook the very moment I could. Unix shell!! Graphical interface! Portable! Take my money!

I bought the very first iPad the same day they started accepting orders, The iPad and the Mac were my constant companions. I didnโ€™t buy an iPhone until the 5, and my first Apple TV was not until 2016.

Now I have HomePods, AirPods, AirPod Proโ€™s and lots of HomeKit.

Yes, itโ€™s the ecosystem that makes Apple great. Nobody else can touch it.
