Jessica Wildfire has a scathing story about the vaccine refusers and their kin. She attributes their reluctance to protect themselves to ignorance.
She also suggests that they will pay a price for their stubbornness.
If only.
Yes, some will, but most will not. Many will have natural immunity or will get a mild case — or maybe they have already had it. They also get some protection from those of us who are vaccinated and those who remain masked.
Macho is as macho does
COVID kills the weak much more than the strong. They (the uncaring they) like that thought. Even if they themselves have issues that make COVID more dangerous for them, they like to think that they are strong enough to get through it.
Living dangerously is sexy, too. I ain’t afraid of no ghosts! Some animals advertise their genetic fitness that way. Are the deniers advertising as well?
