What worries me in the short term is insurance. Surely insurance companies will be jacking up rates soon and this could reach levels those of us not in the top percentile cannot afford.

We have no mortgage, so I could stop insuring our home, but then of course we could be wiped out by a storm, flood or fire. People with mortgages won't even have that difficult choice.

How many more homeless will this create?
