When I fired myself from my 35+ year business that I had begun to dislike, I took a part time job at an Apple Store. The manager loved older people because we tend to be more reliable than the kids. Of course it is retail, which has its sucky parts, but Apple pays very well (by retail standards - $22 per hour when I left in 2020) and has great benefits, including for part timers.
Because of the bennies and their rising stock price, I found myself $150,000 richer when I left after four years. Considering that was in addition to my pay, it was time well spent.
