When I worked at Apple, we were under strict orders that NOONE but employees could come in until we opened. Didn’t matter if it was ten below and howling wind. One of us would stand at the door and open it for employees. People would get so angry.

But we couldn’t, because before opening, we’d have an all hands meeting and of course the customers couldn’t be in the store for that.
