There are many ways to record conversations, but how many of those ways can do this?

Speaker 1 0:05You know that ceramic fry pan?Speaker 2 0:02Yes I know.Speaker 1 0:06What did you do with it to clean it?Speaker 2 0:28I wiped it out with water and a paper towel. Maybe some soap, I forget. By the way, what are we doing for dinner, honey?Speaker 1 0:07Eggs. Eggs, cheese, red peppers.Speaker 2 0:08All right, let me know when you need help.

That’s a brief conversation I had with my wife recently. I recorded it with the Otter Transcribe Voice Notes IOS app. Notice that the transcription identified two speakers and recorded the time for each of our utterances.

While recording our little conversation about dinner isn’t an important use, it’s easy to see that this would be ideal for recording meetings and other conversations.
