Where we live, heating gas prices are up, but electricity is stable, so I have 5 oil filled electric heaters augmenting our gas heat. So far, that’s keeping the Ecobee furnace thermostat satisfied most of the day and night.

Shades and drapes are closed all day.

Plus, we wear our bathrobes over our clothes and run fans to bring the warmer air down from our high ceilings.
