While it is true that the money is too little to matter to most of us, I suspect we have writers here who cannot work any ordinary job and need every dollar they can find.

For others, like me, the amount doesn’t matter much, but it has been enough to buy me a few toys I would not have bought without it.

Still others, and also like me, see the money as an indicator of success. If we make more, it’s an attaboy. Less, an awshit.
