Wireless CarPlay Adapter Guilt
It has some issues, but I can live with them
Am I really so lazy that I can’t plug in my phone to get CarPlay? Did I truly need this not exactly cheap gadget added to all my other first-world toys?
Well, yes, but not because I’m lazy.
I’m forgetful
Sometimes I forget to plug in the phone for CarPlay. Off I go, lost in thought, and then I realize that I want to listen to one of my favorite podcasts or that I need directions.
Well, no, I usually don’t exactly need directions. I’m usually only going to the store or to get the mail. I don’t need directions so much as I need to be reminded not to get lost in thought or the podcast and miss my turn.
Yes, I am easily distracted.
So then I need to plug in the phone. Of course, as I am an extremely conscientious and safe driver, I immediately pull over and do that while stopped. Safety first!
