Wow. Yes, that would be good.

But quite seriously, I don’t own a truck. That’s not a joke, and it isn’t even the truck per se. A flag flying truck in a Fourth of July parade is innocuous, but seeing one bouncing down a back road or speeding down the interstate causes a different reaction.

It’s the “in your face” aspect. It’s like somebody sporting an over-sized cross yelling “Jesus saves!” at me, or appearing at my door with religious pamphlets.

And jingoistic patriotism isn’t good for us.
