Yeah, I’ve always shared, or at least the better stuff.
And Hubpages has featured most of my articles and put them into their better webpages — kind of like curating and putting into a house Publication, I would think.
But they never take off. Other people at that side have made and do make decent money. I do not.
Remember, I’ve been doing this since the early 1990’s — one of the very early writers. I was in magazines even earlier. No traction, nothing viral.
So the almost 30 years of history tells me I will never have a large following here and will never earn much. That’s fine, as I said. That’s been true all this time (with the exception of the specialized website I owned). It didn’t make me stop writing and it will not here. Even if Illumination tightens its criteria and kicks me out, I’ll keep on because I enjoy it and once in a very great while a reader tells me that they did too. That’s enough for me.
