Yes, I asked the same question recently. The answer was a little more nuanced, saying that I CAN, but they prefer that I just edit it.

I also found accidentally that the “Email to Subscribers” in the 3 dot menu DOES send to people who were not subscribed to email when the story was published, even though it will squawk and say you’ve already sent it. And, stories published before December 2020 (which is when email subscriptions arrived) will go out to everyone without complaint.

I’ve been going through old stories and sending them out. It’s added a little money to my income.
