Yes, I will block people for those reasons, for excessive arguing, and more.

I’ll also block for numerous useless, repetitive comments. I blocked someone this week who had commented on several of my posts with a short “Brilliant!”, followed by some other praising sentence. It was exactly the same thing every time and I also saw him use it elsewhere. I don’t want that faked junk cluttering my comments.

I’m tempted to block when someone asks me to look at their posts. Leave an intelligent, useful, or funny comment and I’ll almost certainly look without being asked. Ask and I never will and will mute you at the very least.
