You are misunderstanding a lot about AI. Apple, Google, Samsung and everyone else have been embedding AI in their products for quite a few years now. If it were all ripped out, you’d not only notice, but be very unhappy.

AI is not new. Chatbots aren’t really new either, although ChatGPT was an unexpected leap for most of us. The AI that Apple is promising for IOS 18 will likely be mostly things the general public won’t even realize is AI. It will just be improved features to them.
