Yup. From usually making about $100 a month and sometimes much more, I have dropped to 20-30 cents.

So suddenly all my email subscribers are ignoring me? Seems rather unlikely, doesn’t it? But I can’t tell, because they aren’t showing Reads now and say they won’t for months.

I think Medium wants the kind of writing I do not read or write. I think Boosting lets them filter out everything but.

I am not at all certain that I’m seeing emails from all the people I subscribe to. Is everyone on vacation or is that being filtered too?

If Medium is dampening what I want to read, sooner or later I’ll decide that it’s not worth $5 a month. If a lot of us feel the same, Medium will suffer.

That’s their choice.
